AxanTech incorporated in Lyon, France in 1998 to market value-added solutions to distributed systems (Windows, AS400,Unix and VMS) and accompany Mainframe data centers moving their legacy applications to distributed platforms.
AxanTech has organized its activities between the distribution of software and consultancies in order to provide the major French corporations with turnkey solutions in infrastructure management, data base management and application developments.
Since a value-added  solution  consists of at least two components, Software and Services, AxanTech has organized its business fundamentals around these two activities.
Company 's philosophy is to develop a long term and mutually profitable relationship  with  its large customers, employees and  suppliers, in Europe in French speaking countries (France, Belgium, Luxemboug and Switzerland) as
well as its partners.


Management consist of highly skilled professional people who acquired Education and experience attending American universities and working for a significant period in American corporations. I) SOFTWARE DEPARTMENT

AxanTech has selected a few products from software vendors for their quality and adequacy to meet the needs of computer data centers, which have a computer platform supporting Windows Server, Unix and VMS and uses relational  data bases such as SQL Server and Oracle. The catalog increases as we find new software that fit our customer's need. Our philosophy in general is to select the two best products of each category in order to give a choice to our customers.

1) AxanTech carries out professional services on the  following platforms :  UNIX (HP, IBM, SUN),

Windows NT,W2K , IBM Mainframes and on the major databases such as Oracle, DB2, SQL, Server on a consultancy or a  project basis. Its skilled staff has expertise of widespread  computer languages (Cobol, PL1,Assembleur, C), development tools (L4G), client/server architecture tools such as Developer 2000, NSDK, Powerbuilder 2000, UNIFACE and  has used standard development methods (Merise, Sadt).

2) Migrations & Conversions
Thanks to the expertise of AxanTech people in migrations from legacy systems to Open Systems, this is a service we can render with tools that have already been used in the migrations of information systems of about twenty large multinational companies.

We have serious references in this field with companies as large as Aventis and tools quite adapted to specific program conversions from Ideal/Datacom , IDMS, Natural Adabas, to Cobol/MF Oracle or DB2 or from GAP to Cobol or any language source to any target language.

Because of the great importance of  LAN and WAN Networks, AxanTech has developed a specialized department for administering Networks ( TCP-IP, SNA, DecNet, NT, Novell, Lotus Notes).
